We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to service our busy Packaging Dept.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Responsible for Compressors and all Packaging machinery including:

• cGmp- follow our good manufacturing guidelines.
• Quality- responsible for assisting in product quality, maintaining and adjusting equipment to achieve quality goals.
• SOP and Training - responsible to train new employees and oversee that proper SOP's are followed.
• Scheduling - required to follow and schedule line changes to minimize down-time and produce best Quality.
• Personnel- assignments of line stations, projects, line attendance and punctuality.
• Communication - required to communicate line, machine and Quality status to Packaging and Production Control. Communicates with machine manufacturer regarding new machinery and / or repairs. Communicates with Purchasing on ordering and status.

General Responsibilities- Repair and maintain Packaging equipment to meet Quality and throughput goals. Supervise mechanics and keep personnel safe by practicing company safety guidelines. Order parts and materials to keep machinery in good, safe working order. Keep proper documentation of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. Responsible for scheduling and completing of projects. Responsible for maintenance of 5-7 packaging lines.

Physical Requirements:

Standing and walking short distances for most of the day. Must be able to lift 20 LBS.

Qualifications:

Basic math, reading, writing and English comprehension.

Knowledge of packaging equipment required.
